These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of software products licensed through 0todeploy's License Manager ("we", "us", "our"), including but not limited to 0Signer and other applications distributed with a 0todeploy license key. By activating a license key, installing, or using the software, you ("Licensee", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the licensed software on the number of devices specified by your license (MaxDevices), for the license term specified at the time of purchase (Trial, Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime, or Enterprise, as applicable).

2. License Key and Activation

  • Your license key is unique to you and must not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or published.
  • Activating a device consumes one of your available device seats. Reinstalling the software on the same device does not consume an additional seat.
  • We may collect the following information during activation and periodic validation to enforce license terms and provide support: device/computer name, operating system, application version, a device identifier derived from your machine, and IP address. See Section 8 (Data).

3. Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit others to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • remove or alter any proprietary notices or license-verification mechanisms;
  • circumvent, disable, or attempt to bypass license activation or validation;
  • use the software beyond the device limit, usage quota, or term associated with your license key;
  • redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the software without our prior written consent.

4. Intellectual Property

The software, and all associated intellectual property rights, are and remain the exclusive property of 0todeploy and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, or logos.

5. Term and Termination

  • These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the software.
  • Your license automatically expires at the end of its term (for Trial/Monthly/Yearly licenses) unless renewed. Lifetime and Enterprise licenses are subject to the terms agreed at purchase.
  • We may suspend or revoke your license immediately, without refund, if you breach these Terms, including circumventing license enforcement.
  • Upon termination, you must stop using the software and, if requested, confirm deletion of all copies.

6. Fees and Payment

Fees, billing cycles, and refund policies are as agreed at the time of purchase (e.g., in an invoice, order form, or separate purchase agreement) and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Updates and Support

  • We may release updates, patches, or new versions at our discretion. Some licenses may entitle you to updates during your license term.
  • Support is provided on a best-effort basis via support@0todeploy.com. We do not guarantee a specific response time unless separately agreed in an Enterprise support agreement.

8. Data

To operate license activation and enforcement, we process limited technical data (device identifier, computer name, operating system, application version, IP address, and activation timestamps) as described in Section 2. This data is used solely to administer your license (device limits, usage quotas, support) and is not sold to third parties. Contact support@0todeploy.com for data access or deletion requests.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 0TODEPLOY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and made available via GET /api/legal/terms. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

[Placeholder - to be finalized with legal counsel.] These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
